Jackie is a fresh, new talent to emerge on Chicago's music scene. At just 18 years of age, she's already recorded her debut album, "this is who i am..." while juggling her college searches and entrance exams.

Jackie's song-writing abilities shine throughout this work with her writing 7 and co-writing 3 of the songs on this album. In addition to her deep lyrics, people enjoy the sound of her soulful voice. With a four-octave range, she moves easily from hip hop to R&B; from jazz to soul. Her songs are a part of her, each one sending a special and unique message to those who choose to listen.

Her goal is to be a positive role model with the ability to truly affect someone with her lyrics. The title track, "this is who i am..." is all about discovering the "real you" and not paying attention to what anyone else thinks. The song is meant to be inspirational and Jackie hopes it will encourage any listener to let go of their fears and not be afraid to enjoy life and be themselves.
